I’ve heaped much praise on Burberry for their many recent collection as well as today, I’d like to take a bit bit of it back. A great deal of their stuff? truly good. The Burberry Raffia Shopper? Not almost as good.
What I can’t decide, though, is if the bag itself is poor or if this is just an epically poor option of color as well as structure combination. The bag, of program is constructed out of raffia straw. however when you dye it blue-grey as well as fade it, then fray it around the edges as well as stitch it together in a patchwork formation…it just appears like somebody cut up my old jeans. as well as not in a great way. The color is certainly what makes it so obvious, however the tan version appears like frayed denim from a distance as well. I like the shape as well as the concept of patchwork raffia, however I believe it’s lacking in execution. patchwork denim isn’t a great look on anyone, even if it isn’t truly denim. purchase with Nordstrom for $1395.
