even if you’re not familiar with BOYY bags by name, you’ve probably encountered the brand’s designs somewhere along the way. BOYY launched its first collection in 2006 and has been going strong ever since, but what really caught my eye were the large-buckled totes and top handles the brand has been creating for the past few seasons. For a while, it was hard to find a spot to purchase those bags online, but farfetch.com recently added a bunch to its selection and I couldn’t be much more pleased.
My favorite bags tend to have one central detail that stands out among easy lines, and BOYY’s bold, leather-covered pilgrim buckles certainly in shape that description. It would be easy for the concept to feel cartoonish, but because the bags are finished in such a clean, very little way, everything feels just right.
